I find it quite ironic that, as I contemplate who I am and what my purpose is, I am drafting an about me page for this blog. The extensions I have installed on my Chrome browser have made ample suggestions on how I can alter or improve the words on this page, but I am choosing to ignore that because I believe that one of my purposes in life is to explore, grapple with, understand, and embrace creativity. Not just any creativity but my own. Hence the creation of this blog and every article on it.

In saying that, I am a person with a curious interest in writing both fiction and nonfiction. I’m also an earnest reader, a blogger, a tech enthusiast, and a religious person who simply cannot tolerate nightshade vegetables and gluten because of my autoimmune illness (anyone else with Hashimoto’s or psoriatic arthritis?).

I hold a legal qualification and have undergone professional legal training. Currently, I am pursuing a higher certificate in management sciences while I turn my mind around to the idea of doing my honors and master’s in the legal sphere.

Goals

In no particular order of importance, these are some of my personal and professional goals:

  • To write and publish a novel.
  • To complete a marathon.
  • To benchpress 220 pounds for 6 reps.
  • To purchase a farm or a property with a lot of land for a big garden.
  • To grow an apple tree.
  • To visit Mecca, Medina, Japan, India, Abu Dhabi, and Mauritius.
  • To learn to speak Arabic and Urdu fluently.
  • To write in cursive.
  • To read as many books as possible.
  • To start a family of my own.
  • To buy a nice car.

I suppose over time, I will edit this page and share more relevant information about myself. But, I just wanted to share a little about myself and hopefully connect with likeminded individuals who would like to have a good conversation or to even be friends.

I’m not a writing expert but I am hoping to indulge many decades into this craft and share as much of my experiences and findings as I can.

I thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say and I wish you the best.

Peace and blessings be upon you.
